The company has been involved in numerous surfacing and pavement contracts. Aveng Grinaker-LTA has the capability to manufacture and lay asphalt and concrete paving materials, mill and recycle materials for the rehabilitation of existing pavements and it applies a wide variety of seals and surfaces for the upgrading and maintenance of existing pavements.

The Group boasts world-renowned expertise in asphalt paving and manufacture, deep in-situ stabilisation, milling, recycling and a specialised asphalt design laboratory. The company also specialises in the surfacing and rehabilitation of highways, freeways, airports, concrete pavement inlays, rural and city roads.

Some of the current projects in the Infrastructure market sector that Aveng Grinaker-LTA is working on in South Africa include; the building of new lecture theatres and classrooms at the University of Zululand, constructing of a new B0 sand pumping booster pump station at Durban harbour breakwater for Ethekwini Municipality, upgrading and renovating of existing buildings at Frere Hospital in East London and the construction of Mitchells Plain Hospital in Cape Town.
