The South African Institute of Steel and Construction held their Awards ceremony in September 2011.

Aveng Grinaker-LTA Building was successful in the following categories:

• Architectural Category Winner 2011 in the role as Main Contractor for the construction of the Moses Mabhida Station.
• Overall Winner 2011 in the role as Main Contractor (JV) for the construction of the Protea Court Rooflight at Sandton City.
