The Aveng Grinaker-LTA Mechanical & Electrical Metals & Minerals division focuses on mining processes, steel and iron making, and mineral recovery plants. The division has access to vast resources and expertise across all construction disciplines viz. structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical and instrumentation.

Supported by its in-house fabrication partner, DSE fabrication, experienced management teams supplemented by dedicated project engineers, ensures that materials are delivered in predetermined sequence to successfully achieve demanding schedules. They are ably supported by construction operating systems and a fleet of plant and equipment including cranage of up to a 400 t lattice boom crawler. 

Management of own resources, sub-contractors and the entire supply chain process remain the cornerstones of the division, ensuring maximum practice control of the critical path. Customised systems ensure optimum management and monitoring of quality and progress, as well as sequenced and accurate delivery.
