Aveng Grinaker-LTA Concessions is responsible for the structuring and development of project finance deals in the infrastructure sector, in particular government concession contracts and Public Private Partnerships (PPPs).

It offers comprehensive project development and finance solutions with emphasis on project structuring, risk analysis, value engineering, financial modelling, funding solutions, legal considerations and project management.

The division is structured within the Aveng Grinaker-LTA group and is in a position to mobilise the required resources to address the construction and operational challenges relating to any project taking into account the long term viability of these projects. Aveng Grinaker-LTA Concessions has direct access to a network of professionals from various disciplines enabling it to address all the complexities of project finance deals ranging from complex financial and legal structures to optimal technical solutions, always taking into account Black Economic Empowerment.

In addition to project structuring, the business unit also provides funding of projects. As a project sponsor it funds project development costs and as a shareholder, subscribes to equity in the concession company. As a result, the business unit has considerable experience in the on-going management and operations of project finance deals.
